Mike enjoys speaking and appreciates the opportunity to share his experiences with others.  The unexpected success of "A Train to Potevka" kept Mike incredibly busy in 2006.  However, looking back, most of his time was taken up by the demand for Mike to speak to small groups and book clubs in the intermountain area.  Thus, for 2007 some changes had to be made in order for Mike to meet his expanded book signing commitments around the country for Costco, and--most importantly--for him to have time to work on his second book.  Hopefully, the following will be helpful as you finalize your plans.

If you are interested in Mike speaking to your church, civic, or professional group, please note:

1.   To cover Mike's time and travel there is a charge of $75 plus mileage at 48.5 cent per mile for small groups

and book clubs in the Salt Lake/ Ogden area.  Charges for greater distances will be done on a case-by-case basis.

2.   In order for church groups to eliminate the $75 charge, we suggest you consider organizing a ward, multi-ward, or stake fireside of 100 people or more.  Mike has done dozens of these and can provide references for the same. We ask compensation for Mike's travel expenses at the standard church/government rate of 48.5 cents per mile. 

3.   The fee for larger events: professional groups, business conferences, and conventions, etc. will be

determined on a case-by-case basis.
